About Littlewoods Butchers

Littlewoods butchers was established in 1964.

We specialise in local, free range, naturally reared, and traceable meat mainly sourced from the Cheshire plains.

 

Our small team has over 100 years experience between them, they have served as apprentice butchers, and we still train our apprentices in house today, so we can pass on the craft, and knowledge of artisan butchery.

 

 

Our meat is sourced as whole carcasses, which we traditionally hang, and dry age on the bone to give more flavoursome, and tender meat. So wether it be a tail, fillet or hock we can supply you with the cut, and the knowledge you require for the the perfect meal.
